Title: Geophysical Survey Technician

Reports to: Project Manager

Based at:152 Deer Hill Avenue, Suite 207, Danbury, CT

Salary Range: $33,000 - $40,000 (depends upon experience)

Degree: None Required. But a Business degree or a degree in one of the Sciences is preferred.

Job Purpose:

To perform geophysical, utility locating, concrete imaging and leak detection surveys.

Key Responsibilities

1.      Mark the location and depth of underground utilities or other subsurface features.

2.      Locate cables, rebar, mesh and conduits embedded within concrete structures.

3.      Find and pinpoint the location of hidden leaks in water pipes.

4.      Generate proposals, reports and invoices.

5.      Create project pages to be published on website.

6.      Develop managerial skills for eventual promotion.

Job Requirements:

• Entrepreneurial Zeal:Because we are a small, startup company and have plans for future expansion into new markets and services, we need individuals who do not mind beginning at the ground floor and working their way to the top, and who are interested in learning how grow and run a business, with the potential of eventually opening a branch of their own.
• Physical Abilities:Must be able to lift at least 100 pounds from the ground and be able to walk long distances.
• Computer Skills:Since our project management and filing systems are cloud based, a basic understanding of how to use mobile devices, a computer and Microsoft Office is required. 
• Critical Thinking:On a daily basis, problem solving and critical thinking are required to successfully complete our projects.
• Drivers License:Must have a valid state drivers license.
