WE HAVE OPENINGS FOR UTILITY LOCATORS
Are you looking for a technical career utilizing the latest, state-of-the-art technologies?
Safe Site, Inc.is looking for Utility Locatorsto use mechanical/technical equipment to accurately locate underground facilities including, telephone lines, electric power lines, cable television lines, gas lines, fiber optic lines, water lines, and sewer lines.

We will train you to interpret job order tickets; read blueprints and maps, locating theory and techniques; and efficiently route and determine the address and location of each locate. Earn $13 per hour while training.
Utility Locators work in and walk over all types of terrain (grass, gravel, ditches, etc.) in and around construction zones and residential, commercial, industrial and rural areas in all types of weather. Locators also remove and replace manhole lids, and must be able to lift up to 50 pounds periodically in order to properly locate buried utility lines.
The general work week is Monday – Friday. Start times vary between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM. During peak periods, locators may work 50-55 hours per week and must be available for some mandatory overtime, weekend and holiday work.
Requirements:
Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
High School Diploma, or GED and two years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Valid CO driver's license, including MVR that is considered acceptable by Safe Site.
